ADMINISTRATIVE APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR
Highland Community College is seeking a skilled and motivated Administrative Applications Administrator to oversee the College’s administrative application systems. This full-time position is integral to enhancing institutional efficiency and supporting strategic goals through system analysis, maintenance, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and maintain administrative application systems to address complex operational issues, policies, and procedures.
- Provide technical support to end users, including problem resolution and documentation to ensure timely solutions.
- Research, plan, and implement software upgrades, patches, and new data capture and reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and readiness for system enhancements.
- Lead projects involving administrative applications, including securing consultants, managing timelines, and resolving technical issues.
- Create and manage user accounts for administrative applications while ensuring data security and integrity.
- Extract data and assist in fulfilling institutional data needs, including federal, state, and internal reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the Director of Institutional Research to prioritize data needs and align with institutional strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the institution’s mission and goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience with administrative application software systems, analysis, and design (preferably Ellucian Banner) OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency with administrative and educational computer systems (preferably Ellucian Banner), relational databases, and programming languages (Oracle, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL).
- Knowledge of systems analysis, project management, and software implementation processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to address end-user needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $51,201 - $76,802

- This position offers the potential for a hybrid remote work schedule after approximately six months of employment, dependent on organizational needs and performance. The hybrid schedule allows remote work for up to two days per week (one day during the summer schedule).
