Executive Assistant, Workforce Development, Agriculture, Business, and Technology

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, AGRICULTURE, BUSINESS, AND TECHNOLOGY

Highland Community College is excited to invite applications for a full-time Executive Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact through their administrative skills. The Executive Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Vice President, Workforce Development and the Agriculture, Business, and Technology Division, providing high-level, confidential support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prepare correspondence, reports, and documents with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Serve as a key point of contact, answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and managing communications.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist in preparing meeting materials and take minutes for key discussions.
  • Provide organizational support by maintaining records, managing files, and handling mail.
  • Analyze financial and project data, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Take initiative to resolve administrative details and make decisions in the executive's absence.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A high school diploma (Associate’s degree preferred).
  • At least three (3) years of executive-level office experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates your ability to succeed in this role.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks.
